Established by Oliver Mules (Ollie) in 2014, Blackbird Projects has grown to include a team of over 30 highly skilled project managers, builders, apprentices, landscapers, house painters and a garden maintenance team. We specialise in premium new builds, renovations and landscaping throughout central Auckland and the North Shore.

Known for our attention to detail, we are proud to have won a GOLD award at the 2020 Master Builders House of the Year competition for a stunning home and garden renovation in Remuera, Auckland. Find out more here

Our build team is headed up by licensed builder Trent Towersey who has over 20 years’ experience in the building industry. His project management skills are second to none and he knows that communication is the key to ensuring your dream home is built on time and that renovation costs are kept within your budget.

Our painters are master craftsmen who have a reputation as one of Auckland’s best interior and exterior house paint teams. From intricate villa restorations to commercial interiors, no paint job is too simple or complex.

Finally, our landscape and garden maintenance teams are fast becoming Auckland’s most sought-after garden experts for their friendly can-do attitude and superior landscaping skills. Their work Auckland-wide includes concrete & timber retaining walls, outdoor entertaining areas, full planting plans, garden makeovers & tidy-ups and the installation of over 25 pools!

We pride ourselves on our close working relationship with many well-regarded Auckland architects and landscape designers and have created an exceptional network of subcontractors that we trust to help us deliver a superior job every time.
